Online gambling tech giant Playtech has enriched its live casino offering with the recent addition of a new roulette game. The product launched earlier this week across the company’s Live Casino network.
Playtech presented a new addition to its live roulette games collection, Quantum Roulette. The game is based in a high-detail immersive studio and boasts visuals, sound and dealer presentation that create a highly immersive atmosphere for players.
The new roulette title’s rules are based around Single Zero Roulette. Quantum Roulette features multipliers on certain “Straight Up” positions during every game round, with up to five multipliers ranging from 50x to 500x.
The game further features a special event that takes place at random and enhances the multipliers even more. The Quantum Boost event is designed in a manner that can increase several or even all multipliers even further.
Quantum Roulette follows the launch of two other roulette games by Playtech earlier this year – the company’s first American Roulette title and Spread-Bet Roulette. As mentioned above, the company’s newest title is already available across the Playtech Live Casino network and is fully integrated into the provider’s Engagement Centre.
Founded in 1999 by Israeli businessman Teddy Sagi, Playtech is among the industry veterans, providing technology and content for both its retail and digital sectors.
Focus on Experience-Led Live Casino Content
Of its new product, Playtech says that it continues the company’s focus on developing and providing versatile, experience-led live casino content to the ever-growing, highly competitive, and highly demanding online gambling industry.
Presenting their new product, Playtech Head of Innovation for Live Casino Kevin Kilminster said that the company’s focus “on an experience-led offering, both from a gameplay and presentation perspective, is central to what makes us stand out in the industry.”
Mr. Kilminster went on that along with their other major releases over the past nine months, Quantum Roulette has been designed “to deliver on visuals and entertainment alike” and that he believes that the games’ immersive feel and lively gameplay will “hold great appeal for the modern generation of Live Casino players.”
The roll-out of Quantum Roulette follows the recent release of American Roulette, Hi-Lo Club – which represents a full redesign of Playtech’s Hi-Lo title, Spread-Bet Roulette, Dragon Jackpot Baccarat, and Casino Stud Poker. All new games are available across the provider’s Live Casino network and are fully integrated with its Engagement Centre.
Last month, Playtech announced that it would release a whole line of native-first products to bring its portfolio in line of the recent updates of Apple’s App Store guidelines relation to the publication of gaming and betting apps.
In brief, under Apple’s new guidelines publishers of gambling apps will no longer be able to repackage their websites via HTML5 technologies and upload these on the App Store. Such apps must now include a native functionality, that is to say all aspects of a gaming or a betting app must be native to iOS.
Playtech has been providing native casino offering for more than three years now, but said last month that it would now look to expand its native-first product range to respond to the increasing demand for such products.
